Is the Glencolmcille tower not a signal tower
Hello Paddy, the Glencolmcille tower is indeed a signal tower. It is not actually considered a Martello tower but in Donegal the people tend to refer to them as such. Also, Martello towers too were used as signal towers. Thanks for your comment!
